Sarah Espenshade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an Advanced Certification in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 
Sarah received her Masters degree in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration, Health/ Mental Health specialization from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. Sarah also has a Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Villanova University and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Bryn Mawr School of Social Work. Sarah has years of experience treating adolescents and adults in an inpatient, outpatient, academic and community based setting and has provided clinical consultation and support to various recovery organizations. Sarah specializes in Addiction and treating complex dually diagnosed individuals and families. Sarah takes a client centered, holistic, systems oriented approach to treating addiction and other mental health issues utilizing evidence based practices including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, experiential therapy, solution focused therapy in conjunction with the 12 steps and SMART recovery models.
